WSWHE BOCES offers several opportunities for adults who wish to retrain or brush up on skills.

Daytime CTE Programs
Adults
learn alongside high school students on a space-available basis. Classes are 2.5 hours in length and are held Monday through Friday. Adult students may choose to attend the morning session or the afternoon session. Classes follow the regular school calendar and holidays. Some CTE programs, like Practical Nursing, offer adult-only daytime CTE classes.

Evening Classes
Adult Continuing Education classes range from CTE programs to arts and crafts, fitness, finance, and business. They are usually held at night at the Myers Education Center, the Southern Adirondack Education Center, the Gick Road Conference Center in Saratoga or 21 Bay Street in Glens Falls. Business & Industry Training
If you are re-entering the workforce or have been displaced from your job and need training to increase your skills, marketability, and salary, we can help you explore training options and funding sources. Short-term courses are offered on a flexible basis to fit your schedule. For more information, call 581-3523 or 746-3523.

Adult Basic Education & English as a Second Language
If English is not your first language, please call 581-3521 or 746-3521. ESL classes are held at the F. Donald Myers Center in Saratoga Springs.

GED Program
To earn a high school equivalency diploma (GED), you can take a GED class at the Gick Road Conference Center in Saratoga; 21 Bay Street in Glens Falls; or prepare for the exam at home with GRASP (Giving Ready Adults a Study Program).
