Mission Statement
The Language and Culture Resource Center
focuses on initiatives that increase the
language proficiency,
language diversity, and
cultural awareness of the
students in our component districts.
We achieve this mission by:

coordinating instructional initiatives through
Itinerant Services
and the
Gifted & Talented Resource Center to create a menu of program options,
-
taking advantage of powerful learning tools made
available through
Instructional Technology
Integration Programs
and
the
School
Library System, and
-
offering teachers quality professional
development opportunities through our
School Development Services.
WSWHE BOCES has been awarded
a federal grant called StarTalk. This grant will be used to
support the Summer 2010 Chinese Language Immersion and
Culture Program. Details will be posted shortly.
