Early
Literacy Resource Collection
The
Early Literacy Resource Collection (ELRC) is designed to
be a collection of useful literacy resources for educators in Grades
preK-3. This collection of resources has been developed to support
the Early Literacy Initiatives of the Corinth Partnership's Enhancing
Education Through Technology (EETT) Grant Program. Teachers in
EETT schools have administered the DIBELS Assessment using
handheld computers (PDA's). Using the DIBELS data, they are able
to pinpoint areas that need improvement in Early Literacy instruction. This site is designed to provides a
wide range of materials, useful templates and handouts, Internet links
and activities targeting early literacy assessment and instruction.

Literacy Research and Articles:
This section provides useful links to relevant research and recent
articles on the topic of Early Literacy Instructions. A section on
current government policies related to Early Literacy Instruction is
included
DIBELS Assessment
Support: This section provides links to different
components of the DIBELS Asessment, including information on the PDA
based version of the DIBELS Assessment created by Wireless Generation.
Instructional
Resources and Links: This section includes links to many
classroom ready activities, lesson plans and additional resources tied
to the DIBELS measures and the five Components of Reading.
Professional
Organizations: This section provides links to various
professional organizations related to Reading and Early Literacy
