Like with all confirmed cases, WSWHE BOCES continues to work closely with Saratoga County Public Health Services, Washington County Public Health Services, and Warren County Health Services on coordination.
The respective counties determined that none of these cases presented direct exposure to our school community. The affected individuals remain in isolation until cleared by the department of health.
WSWHE BOCES remains open for in-person instruction at this time. Public health officials will advise school administration if our school operations need to be altered in any way.
WSWHE BOCES continues to follow all of the proper protocols including temperature checks, health screenings, physical distancing, mask wearing, and hand washing. WSWHE BOCES thoroughly cleans and disinfects all buildings in accordance with guidance from the New York State Department of Health and the CDC. Please continue to stay vigilant in monitoring your health. We each play an important part in maintaining a healthy environment that allows school buildings to remain open.
Please note that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.
This notification is part of our commitment to keep you informed about COVID-19 cases. All students and staff members should continue to complete the Pinpoint Wellness Check Health Screening Tool when they are scheduled to attend school in-person.
