$300 semester - Per SABEA Faculty & SRP Contracts
(Any position can be shared between two staff members. The stipend is then split evenly with both staff.)

Qualifications: 

REQUIREMENTS:
As per Faculty Unit Negotiated Agreement - Article 10.17 OR
As per SRP Unit Negotiated Agreement - Article 18.14

Must complete position responsibilities prior to receiving stipend payment at the conclusion of the semester.
The successful candidate must be actively employed during the period of appointment
from September 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.
 
Responsibilities:
PurposeEach program that uses the Boys Town Specialized Classroom Model has a store that allows students to purchase tangible and intangible items. In order for classrooms and students to have a consistent and fair economy, one person will be in charge of this store. In conjunction with the school store, a calendar of events is an important part of each program.  The manager will be responsible for creating a monthly calendar of activities.

Responsibilities
  • The Boys Town Store Manager will be responsible for creating a monthly calendar of activities as well as developing and maintaining the menus.
  • The Boys Town Store Manager will work with teachers and students to identify items, privileges, and activities that motivate students. Once those have been identified and approved by the building level administrator and/ or the Boys Town Principal, the items will be ordered through the building secretary.
  • The Boys Town Store Manager will be responsible for making coupons for privileges and activities. Such coupons will be distributed to the classroom teachers for students to purchase at end of day conferencing.
Positions will be at the following locations for the 22-23 School year: 
 
  • Southern Adirondack Education Center (3 positions) 
  • F. Donald Myers Education Center (3 positions) 
  • Sanford Street Teaching & Learning Center (2 positions) 
  • Washington Street Teaching & Learning Center (1 position)
