Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

As per Faculty Unit Negotiated Agreement; Article 10.17 OR

As per SRP Unit Negotiated Agreement; Article 18.14

Must have completed the Boys Town Five Day Specialized Classroom Management Training and be certified as a Boys Town Consultant by the Boys Town Foundation.

The successful candidate must be actively employed during the period of appointment

from September 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.

Log of student activities must be submitted and authorized for payment and stipend.

Must complete position responsibilities prior to receiving stipend payment at the conclusion of the school year activities.

Responsibilities:

FUNCTION: To assist in the implementation of the Boys Town Specialized Classroom Management model at the Southern Adirondack Education Center, Sanford Street Teaching and Learning Center, and the F. Donald Myers Education Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (The following are illustrative only and not limiting or all-inclusive.)

Conduct quarterly data sweeps for each program including pre and post conversations with individual teachers.
Collaborate with the principal to develop and implement program goals and objectives based on sweeps and district-wide goals.
Collaborate with the principal to determine agenda items and activities for Boys Town debriefs.
Provide consultation on the interpretation of the Boys Town Specialized classroom system to staff and administration (not a decision-making role).
Attend and participate in meetings with the Boys Town Principal and/or Program Supervisor.
Attend and participate in regular meetings with the program and district-level consultants.
