Program Hours
Staff Hours:
8:15 AM - 12:15 PM (4 hours)
8:00 AM - 12:30 PM (4.5 hours)
Salary: 
  • Teacher salaries will be $37.04 per hour for up to a total of $3,333.60 for the full 20-day program.
  • Teaching Assistant salaries will be $17.00 per hour for up to a total of $1,530.00 for the full 20-day program.

Positions:
New York State certification is required in the appropriate content area.
 
Seven (7) Teachers at the following grade levels:
  • Kindergarten, One (1) Position
  • Grade 1, One (1) Position
  • Grade 2, One (1) Position
  • Grade 3, One (1) Position
  • Grade 4, One (1) Position
  • Reading Teacher, One (1) Position
  • Library/Media Teacher, One (1) Position
 
Four (4) Teachers at the following grade levels:
  • Grade 5 Enrichment, Engagement, and Skill-Building Instructor, One (1) Position
      • CACSD is looking to engage students and provide a literacy and numeracy rich learning environment around the theme of etiquette and manners. The ideal teacher for this position will have a strong background in project-based learning and infusing basic skills throughout the course of a project. Students will also be taking a field trip during the program. 
  • Grade 6 Enrichment, Engagement, and Skill-Building Instructor, One (1) Position
      • CACSD is looking to engage students and provide a literacy and numeracy rich learning environment around the theme of hospitality & cooking. The ideal teacher for this position will have a strong background in project-based learning and infusing basic skills throughout the course of a project. Students will also be taking a field trip during the program. 
  • Grade 7 Enrichment, Engagement, and Skill-Building Instructor, One (1) Position
      • CACSD is looking to engage students and provide a literacy and numeracy rich learning environment around the theme of history all around us. The ideal teacher for this position will have a strong background in project-based learning and infusing basic skills throughout the course of a project. Students will also be taking a field trip during the program. 
  • Grade 8 Enrichment, Engagement, and Skill-Building Instructor, One (1) Position
      • CACSD is looking to engage students and provide a literacy and numeracy rich learning environment around the theme of school and community. The ideal teacher for this position will have a strong background in project-based learning and infusing basic skills throughout the course of a project. Students will also be taking a field trip during the program. 
 
Two (2) Teachers at the following grade levels:
  • Health Teacher Grades 7-12, One (1) Position
  • Agriculture Teacher Grades 7-12, One (1) Position
