We are always looking for adults who are interested in teaching a Project Enrich after-school course for motivated students in Grades 2-8. We're looking for hands-on, exciting, in-depth and experiential programs that are DIFFERENT from what students normally learn in school.
Please send us a course proposal in any of these categories:
Currently Project Enrich courses are held during a 6-week fall session and spring session
at the F. Donald Myers Education Center in Saratoga Springs, NY
Project Enrich Mini Course teachers need to have a strong passion for and knowledge of the topic they teach. They must have experience with children. Teaching experience is strongly preferred, but certification is not required. The ability to provide rich, real-world, hands-on experiences is also strongly preferred. Experience with Problem Based Learning, and incorporating the arts into the academic curriculum, is preferred, but not required. Teachers of the arts make great mini course instructors because they naturally know how to make course content “hands on”!
