The School Improvement Service is designed to support local school district efforts in the areas of professional development, curriculum development, instructional design, and school planning/organization. Using these four areas as vehicles for school improvement, the current focus of the service is on the NYS Standards and Assessments, the newly released Common Core State Standards (CCSS), as well as supporting the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) and Race to the Top (RTTT) by providing evidence-based staff development programs.
Each participating district is part of a base service that provides coordination of regional and district specific activities to support:
Districts that purchase School Improvement and Data Analysis get both services for the same base fee.

Cancellations Due to Weather
If both the Myers Education Center in Saratoga Springs and the Southern Adirondack Education Center (SAEC) in Hudson Falls are closed, workshops at the Gick Road Conference Center will be cancelled as well. If there are school delays, the workshops will run as scheduled, but participants are urged to use their professional judgment in terms of their own attendance.
