The Southern Adirondack Public Schools Workers' Compensation Plan is a self-insured fund comprised of 29 districts plus the BOCES that covers 10,000 staff members. Claims and reserves total approximately $6 million.
The BOCES also offers an Unemployment Insurance Service through a third-party administrator, National Employer's Council, that manages and advises on unemployment claims and provides legal representation for unemployment hearings.
