Friday, January 08, 2016
Let the financial aid professionals help you.
SUNY Financial Aid Day on February 20
SUNY Adirondack will host a SUNY Financial Aid Day on Saturday, February 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Scoville Learning Center on the Bay Road campus.
This assistance is available regardless of which college you plan to attend.
The program will include workshops on completing the federal and state financial aid applications and understanding the aid process and types of resources. Computer facilities will be available for online entry of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), PIN requests, or to check the status of a previously-filed FAFSA form.
To expedite processing of the FAFSA form, students and parents should apply for a federal PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. This can also be done when you attend the program.
Students and parents should collect and bring with them income information, including 2014 federal and state tax returns (or 2015 returns, if possible); 2015 W-2s or final pay stubs; unemployment compensation notices; and any other information notices that will assist in estimating 2015 income.
Admission is free to interested students and their families.
