Chief School Officers Meet to Discuss Legislative Priorities

Chief School Officers and Board of Education Presidents from the 31 school districts in the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES supervisory area discussed their 2018 legislative priorities with members of the NYS Legislature from both parties on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Southern Adirondack Education Center.

The Chief School Officers also recognized two outstanding business partners – Adirondack Studios based in Argyle and Camp Echo Lake of Warrensburg – for the positive impact they have had on students.
Skills USA students spoke about the organization and the Career and Technical Education programs they are enrolled in. Students from the Culinary Arts program prepared and served breakfast to a crowd of 100 people. Criminal Justice students assisted with parking and safety.
