Student Recognition Ceremony & Improved Scores for WSTLC!

Congratulations to the Washington Street Teaching and Learning Center students! The WSTLC held its Student Recognition Ceremony on Friday, June 14, 2019. A number of awards were handed out to students. The Principal’s Award went to Trista Panoushek, Zachary Perkins earned the Most Improved Award, and the Boys Town Medal of Honor Award went to Devlin Thomas.
During the ceremony, it was mentioned that WSTLC is improving on all fronts! Literacy skills have increased tremendously and a total of 13 students met their expected growth goal! Proficient literacy skills are of paramount importance to the future success of our students and this is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of both staff and students.
Plus, the May benchmark results for math were incredible; 80% of the 6th grade students and 83% of the 7th grade students showed a total growth score!
