Congratulations to All Environmental Conservation Students Who Participated in the State FFA Convent

Congratulations to all Environmental Conservation and Forestry students who participated in Career Development Events at the 2016 New York State Future Farmers of America Convention on May 6 in Syracuse.
Twelve students who attend classes at both the F. Donald Myers and Southern Adirondack Education Centers placed in the top four either individually or as a team.

Students competed in forestry-related practices of Tree Identification, Forestry Equipment Identification, Trouble Shooting and Parts of a Chainsaw, Map Reading and Timber Cruising.
