Four Graphic and Visual Communications students at the Southern Adirondack Education Center will have their artwork that reflects Dr. Martin Luther King’s teachings displayed on the concourse of the Empire State Plaza in Albany from Jan. 14 through February.
Brandon Burrows of Glens Falls, Courtney Allard of Johnsburg, Eleni Tyrell, and Zach Leszczynski of Glens Falls, entered their artwork in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fine Arts & Essay Display, sponsored by the New York State Education Department. Their artwork along with other student artwork from around the state will be on display.
Students in New York State were invited to submit artwork including essays, drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography based on Dr. King’s Six Principles of Nonviolence.
