A Message From The District Superintendent - Incident at the F. Donald Myers Education Center 12/19/23

I am writing to advise you that this morning we became aware that a person claiming to be one of our students left a voicemail with a bomb threat to the F. Donald Myers Education Center. We immediately investigated and reported the threat to the authorities. In an abundance of caution, the building was put into a shelter in place per our school safety plan. Our school administrators worked with our law enforcement partners to monitor our building and maintain a safe environment.  The New York State Police canine team swept the building and deemed it safe to resume classes. We are now operating on our regular schedule.
