Talent Unlimited Highlights Outstanding Student Artists and Writers Across Region

The journal features outstanding poems, essays, photographs, paintings, drawings and graphic designs created by students in grades 7-12. Content is selected by a jury of professional artists and writers, and contributing students are recognized at an annual reception celebrating their creativity and achievement.

Selected students were honored during a recognition ceremony held May 12, 2026. This year, 65 students from 16 component school districts participated. Accepted works were exhibited, and students were invited to read their pieces aloud. Special guest speaker Kate Hartley, artist, educator and owner of H'ART Studio & Gallery in North Creek, shared remarks with attendees. Student readers were Robert Hill from North Warren Jr./Sr. High School and Beitris Robinson from Oliver Winch Middle School.

Students who submitted work for Talent Unlimited also had the option to have their entries considered for the Saratoga Performing Arts Center Festival of Young Artists celebration, which will be held May 31, 2026. A total of 17 artistic and literary works created by Talent Unlimited students were selected by SPAC for inclusion in the festival.
