WSTLC Students Recognized!

Congratulations goes out to the Washington Street Teaching and Learning Center students! The WSTLC held its Student Recognition Ceremony on June 23, 2021 in the courtyard outside on a beautiful day.

CTE Class of 2021 Celebrated

The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is pleased to be doing its part in closing that gap by preparing the next generation of skilled workers and industry innovators. After two years in CTE programs, more than 500 high school seniors have received completion certificates at ceremonies held on June 21 & 22.

71 Students Complete Early College Career Academy

The Early College Career Academy (ECCA), a partnership program between the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton Essex BOCES and SUNY Adirondack, held its Completion Ceremonies at the SUNY Adirondack Queensbury campus on June 10 and 11.

BOCES Past, Present and Future - Building Tomorrow’s Workforce Today

Over the last few weeks Career and Technical Education students in the Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance, and Environmental Conservation & Forestry program from the F. Donald Myers Education Center in Saratoga Springs have been using their skills for community service at the Washington County Fair Grounds.

Students Recognized for Community Service

Congratulations to Keegan Dussault, a senior from Saratoga Springs High School who is in the Early Childhood Education Program at the F. Donald Myers Education Center, and to Nathan Springer, a senior from South Glens Falls High School who is in the Early Childhood Education Program at the Southern Adirondack Education Center. Keegan was awarded the Saratoga County School Boards Association Community Service Award. And Nathan was awarded the Adirondack Area School Boards Association Community Service Award. Congratulations to all of the award recipients.

Congratulations to the Retiree Class of 2021

Nineteen staff were honored in a retiree recognition ceremony on May 13 at the Ballard Road Conference Center, which also had a virtual option so family members and guests could participate. Collectively, the staff members served 405 years to WSWHE BOCES.
