Seventy seven students on 11 teams from six local schools spent Sunday, March 13, 2022 creatively solving problems and performing for judges at the 2022 Region 6 Odyssey of the Mind Competition.

SkillsUSA has awarded a grant to the SkillsUSA chapter at the F. Donald Myers Education Center in Saratoga Springs, NY, thanks to its longtime partnership with Lowe’s Home Improvement. SkillsUSA and Lowe’s have teamed up for 16 years to support career and technical education (CTE) classrooms across the nation.
Students in the F. Donald Myers Education Center Exceptional Learners Program were treated to an afternoon with Silent Wings Raptor Rehab and Education program on January 28. Trish Marki spoke to the students about four different kinds of raptors: eagles, hawks, owls, and falcons. They also learned about vultures and had the opportunity to see some of the raptors up close. The program was made possible by the Stewart's Holiday Match program.
ECCA Students Spend Time with Queensbury Union Free School District Board of Education and Administrators
Tuesday, January 18, 2022, Early College Career Academy (ECCA) students spent time with the Queensbury Union Free School District Board of Education and Administrators such as superintendents, principals and school counselors.
Eighty six students, school superintendents, board of education members, legislators, WSWHE BOCES staff, educators and key stakeholders came together for the 7th Annual WSWHE Chief School Officers Legislative Breakfast. The meeting was held virtually.

F. Donald Myers Education Center CTE Criminal Justice Studies (CJS) students held their annual mock trial on December 8 and 9, 2021. This case was NYS vs. Mike Mean "A Case of Murder."
During the week of October 18, 2021, the SAEC Culinary Arts & Hospitality and Hospitality & Human Services Service Level Team collaborated with the NYS Special Olympics committee to help make their event a success.
