WSWHE BOCES Practical Nursing Program
WSWHE BOCES Adult Practical Nursing Program is dedicated to training practical nurses prepared to work in our future healthcare system. Our 10-month, 1200-hour program takes the nursing student through fundamentals of nursing, care of the elderly, anatomy and physiology, medical surgical nursing, mental health, pediatrics, and maternity nursing as our basic courses. Successful graduation prepares the practical nursing student to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Our excellent pass rate speaks to the quality education our program provides. Students have access to a variety of clinical locations within the community, allowing them to practice. | ![]() |
