Granville 2026 Regional Summer School

About the Program

Located at the Granville Central School District, Granville HS, this summer program is designed to provide academic remedial instruction for students currently enrolled at either Granville CSD and other Regional School Districts in Grades 7 through 12 who have not yet been successful in meeting course/grade requirements.

Week One: Wednesday - Thursday ONLY

Remaining Weeks: Monday – Thursday Only

July 8 - August 21, 2026 (27 Days Staff Only)

Week One: Wednesday – Thursday ONLY

Final Week: Monday – Friday

Remaining Weeks: Monday – Thursday Only

Regents Exam & Scoring: August 19 & 20, 2026

Rating Day & Check-out: August 21, 2026

8:05 AM - 10:05 AM (Section 1); 10:10 AM - 12:10 PM (Section 2)

STAFF HOURS:

Teacher Hours: 7:45 AM - 12:15 PM

Teaching Asst. Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:15 PM

School Nurse Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:15 PM

POSITIONS:

New York State Certification is required in the appropriate content area.

Grades 7-8:

English 7/8 - One (1) Positions
Math 7/8 - One (1) Positions
Science 7/8 - One (1) Positions
AIS/Special Education 7/8 - One (1) Position

English Grades 9-12 - 2 Sections
Math - Algebra
Math - Geometry
Global Grades 9-10

Social Skills & Integration (School Counselor/Teacher)

Teaching Assistant - Two (2) Positions

School Nurse - One (1) Position

SALARY:

These are stipend positions for 27 days (adjusted for days not worked) at the following pay rates:

Teachers:

$3,369.60 per each 2-hour section
$1,684.80 per each 1-hour section

Teaching Assistants:

$1,188.00 per each 2-hour section
$594.00 per each 1-hour section

School Nurses:

$2,160.00 per each 2-hour section
$1,080.00 per each 1-hour section

Curriculum Writing may be available at the discretion of the district between June 1, 2026 and July 15, 2026, at $30 per hour.

Proctoring and Exam Scoring: August 19-21, 2026 - Additional staff needed and regular staff working beyond the regular program hours for proctoring and exam scoring will be paid $26.75 per hour.
