Home Education Coordination Service
The WSWHE BOCES is now offering Home Education Coordination Support to participating component school districts for the first time during the 2024-2025 School Year. The purpose of this service is to assist school districts with ensuring equivalency of instruction and district compliance with New York State Education Department Commissioner's Regulation 100.10 on Home Instruction. This service will facilitate the collecting, reviewing and tracking all required paperwork elements including letters of intent (LOI), individualized home instruction plans (IHIP), Quarterly Reports and Annual Assessments for each student of compulsory school age (Age 6 to Age 16) from participating districts.

Please note: This website currently contains only the links for the Letter of Intent (LOI) and Individualized Home Instruction Plan (IHIP) forms to assist with the transition to this new BOCES service.
