Employee Assistance Program

EAP is a confidential service for employees of participating districts seeking services for themselves and/or family members. 

Services are available to employees and their dependents at no cost and include: 

  • Professional counseling (individual, relationship, family)
  • Depression screening
  • Legal referrals
  • Financial referrals
  • Workshops and trainings on personal and professional development topics
  • Extensive online information and resources on wellness and mental health topics, click on link below (username BWSWHE password EAP)


Services will be provided by the Capital Region EAP, an independent service provider. The School Improvement Services Office coordinates the program and the provision of workshops to participating districts on such topics as managing stress, workplace communication, etc. A BOCES-led regional advisory council monitors program implementation.
