Telephone Interconnect
This COSER provides BOCES with the authority to pay a school district's phone bill and receive BOCES State Aid for 50% of the cost for local calls. E-Rate reimbursement is included in this service.
The COSER also provides for assistance with the procurement of new VoIP communications systems equipment. Participating districts subscribe to a shared voice communications system, including comprehensive support services, or subscribe to complementary services tailored for existing voice communications systems. Additional communication services are offered for Parental/Student Notification to complement the COSERs core offering. Services are eligible for BOCES Aid.
