On a consistent and routine basis provide technical guidance, support, and direction to technology-related staff; in both school district and BOCES settings.

Responsibilities will often need to be completed beyond the regular workday schedule.)

• Assist in handling emergency situations in the absence of an administrator, Senior Network Analyst, Technology Services Supervisor, and/or under the direction of the administrator or Senior Network Analyst or Technology Services Supervisor.
• Assist in managing technology-related crises.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program in the absence of the coordinator.
•  Communicate with BOCES administrators, school district personnel, and agencies as required.
• Provide mentorship, technology assistance and guidance to other technicians in the unit.
• The Head Technician shall not evaluate other technicians but can provide input to the administrator.
