74 Students Complete Early College Career Academy

The Early College Career Academy (ECCA), a partnership program between the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton Essex BOCES and SUNY Adirondack, held its Completion Ceremony at the SUNY Adirondack Queensbury campus on June 10. Seventy four students from 17 school districts were recognized in the company of family members, WSWHE BOCES and SUNY Adirondack staff and faculty, BOCES Board of Education members and honored award presenters.

CTE Signing Day Celebrates Students Entering the Workforce

June 10, 2022 – Similar to special events for high school athletes signing commitment letters to colleges where they will play sports, or high school seniors donning collegiate shirts from the colleges where they have been accepted on designated college acceptance days, the WSWHE BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) program recognized those students in its programs who will go directly into the workforce by holding a CTE Signing Day on June 9 at the Park Theater in Glens Falls.

WSWHE BOCES Announces New District Superintendent

The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES is pleased to announce the selection of the current Assistant Superintendent for Educational and Support Programs for the WSWHE BOCES, Turina Parker, to be the new WSWHE BOCES District Superintendent and Chief Executive Officer.

Warren County Provider Fair held at Queensbury Union Free School District

Partners from Warren County school districts, county agencies and regional not-for-profit organizations met with school district leaders and members from around the county on Friday, May 20, 2022 to coordinate and build professional relationships among those who provide services to children and families who may need support.

John Winch & Power Sports Technology Honored

On April 8, 2022, the WSWHE BOCES Power Sports Technician instructor and program were nationally recognized by the Equipment and Engine Training Council (EETC) for the High School Program of The Year. This award recognizes an exceptionally strong or innovative EETC accredited school program, which reflects the hard work of the supervising instructor.
